Mr. Gorman initially answered 'No' on question one, adding this comment:
I believe voting is too easy now. Photo ID should be required. Improved security about who is voting may necessitate current ballot access.
It seemed that Mr. Gorman misunderstood the question, and so he was called to clarify his answer. Upon being made to understand that ballot access reform meant reducing the hurdles for alternative candidates to get on the ballot, Mr. Gorman readily agreed that he could support ballot access reform. Accordingly, he is indicated as answering 'Yes' on this question.
Additionally, it may be of interest to note that Mr. Gorman cited Rep. Ron Paul, M.D., as his political role model. Rep. Paul, a Republican Congressman from Texas, was the 1988 Libertarian Party candidate for President.
